Snowboard

Snowboards are ridden on special tracks of varying skill levels and characteristics or in nature. By and large, snowboarding as a sport can be divided into racing and freestyle.

 

In racing, speed and position at the end of the track count. In freestyle, the result depends on tricks and riding style. In some cases, both speed and tricks have their role.

 

Snowboarding developed in the United States and became an Olympic event in 1998.
